The printer is recognized by Windows, and is currently set to the default printer as well. Word gives me an error saying a default printer hasn't been designated or it can't locate a default printer. My suspicion is that HP just doesn't have any Windows 7 compatible drivers since the official retail copies are still months away from hitting the shelves.
